Senior Night and Senior Moment
Last night was Senior Night for my twins. I know they aren’t babies, but they are my babies and it’s hard to believe that after 5 children the last two are about to graduate.
Most people who know me well were betting I would cry last night. They were wrong. It wasn’t that I didin’t feel like shedding a tear or two but if there is one thing my boys hate, it’s what they refer to as “drama.” Drama to them is showing any type of emotion.
So I sucked it up and held it in and this is what the four of us looked like when it was our turn to be recognized…
Right after this picture was made the boys and I turned and walked to the side to stand by the other parents. Bill didn’t know we had left and stood there by himself smiling. The crowd loved it and laughed at Bill’s “Senior Moment.” If I hadn’t had my arms hooked with the boys I would have been standing there with him. Next time I’ll put a leash on him to make sure he comes with us!
Awwwww!!!! How sweet. You will be o.k. but it is gonna be hard. How have so many years gone by in a flash? I love the Senior moment too….give Bill a big hug, we are all having those these days. Great story. 🙂 <3

Love the picture. You all look great. Funny story too. lol 🙂
Love it! How funny about Bill. 🙂 I know that feeling when your “baby” is a senior, too! It can be so emotional, but it is such a special time.
I know how you feel! It is really hard with that last “baby” but you will make it!
