Gratituesday, Hornets, and the Rockettes
Sunday afternoon we had a girls day out. My daughter, Jessi (aka Justin’s girlfriend) and I took Abby to Nashville to see the Rockettes Christmas Show.
We had a great time. The show was at The Grand Old Opry and we had great seats. The only bad thing was they had a black curtain in front of the exit door and it was so dark (at intermission) that Abby went running through the curtain, couldn’t see the door, and smacked her nose hard against it. This nana was very upset with whomever did not see fit to light the exits properly!
After the show we stopped at Cracker Barrell where Abby ate a huge bowl of mac and cheese (surprise, surprise). She loved looking at all the toys in the gift area as well.
The day was wonderful and I am so thankful Abby got to go with us.
This week the boys have a basketball tournament and it’s at our high school so I’m working the concession stand a lot this week. Any of you ever done that? Who has time to Christmas shop when there is so much to do!
Bill snapped this shot of our team and I just had to share it with you.
Hope you are having a good week where ever you are! And hope you have a great Gratituesday!
We did, Janet! Blessings to you!
So true. Wish I owned stock in Kraft’s mac and cheese!
Isn’t it amazing how central mac and cheese is to kids these days. I asked what they wanted for Christmas dinner and that was one choice.
Sounds like you had a great girls day out. It’ll be remembered for years.
Sounds like you gals had a great time, looks like too. 🙂
