Time Flies at Lightening Speed After 50

Time flies. I’ve heard it said a million times but I think after I hit 50 it goes even faster. How can it be June? The days, the weeks, the years just keep going faster and faster.

Last week we went to an event where there were animals. This pretty young lady holding the baby kangaroo was one of my high school students years ago. Now she has a family and her oldest child just graduated from high school. The Joey was so content he slept most of the time I talked to her. She said she loved holding him. I think she would have taken him home if she could have!

This brown haired girl is my future daughter-in-law and she decided she would hold a snake. I made pictures but I didn’t get close. I hate snakes.

Time Flies

This young lady works at Kentucky Down Under and she was the snake handler for the day. Most of the time she walked around with it under her shirt, which gave me the willies. No way would I put a snake down my shirt! Would you?

The next photo is of my two grandsons. The one seated just turned 5 and it was his birthday party. His mom is helping him open his presents. Truthfully he didn’t need help with the opening but he couldn’t read the cards so Mom helped out.

We love spending time at the farm and I captured this shot of the moon rising. It’s so peaceful and tranquil there. The fountain has lights and I love to sit on the cabin porch swing and watch the colors change.
