Always In My Heart
Yesterday I wrote a post about our dog, Murphy. He was almost 14 years old and I knew our time together was limited but his death this weekend was sudden and unexpected. I’m dedicating this post to him today and hoping that each of you will know the love of a pet at least once in your life time. He wasn’t a perfect dog, but he was perfect for us. Murphy, you touched my heart and I will always remember you!

This is a blog hop and instead of leaving comments, leave the name of one of your pets that you will never forget and a memory you have of them.
big hug, Nana…it’s not easy at all to loss something that’s so close to us …Rest in peace, Murphy..
So sorry for your loss! It is so difficult to lose a special friend. We lost our kitty, Remy, last year after his being a part of our family for sixteen years. He was bossy and assertive, which made him quite a character. We loved him dearly, and miss him. They sure have a way of claiming a piece of our hearts. Blessings.
Good for you Harriet. Thank you for commenting.
Thanks, Carol! I appreciate it!
Lots of healing hugs to you and your family for your dear loss ~ I have had 2 dogs over the years both for 14 years ~ Tara ~ Siberian Husky ~ Punky ~ Black Lab/golden mix ~ our fur persons are such treasures in our lives ~ xo
Happy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
So sorry about your loss. I always tell myself that it is natures way of reminding me to save another pup- can’t imagine why my home is full of them…. 🙂
Thanks, David. And sorry about Jasper!
What a personality! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for commenting Stephanie. I appreciate it and appreciate you understanding.
I’m so sorry. I’ve lost many wonderful pets. The most recent was our pet rat, Alice, who was the cutest, sweetest little thing. She had to be put down at only a year old due to developing a very large cyst very quickly, and I cried and cried. I was heartbroken.
Our two dogs, Vern & Vinny, are as you say, not perfect, but perfect for us. I will die a little bit when I inevitably lose them.
China the cat, yowled like a grandma who smoked one pack too many cigarettes. Loved turkey and sat herself down at the Thanksgiving table whether or not invited.
Happy WW and thank you for hosting such a great link up! Have a wonderful week ahead! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
Jasper, we all miss him dearly. Sorry about the loss.
Thank you so much!
How sweet!
They have a special place in our heart. My kitty, Fleur, loves to come in and wake me up each morning – my own personal alarm clock!
I’m sorry for your loss. I, too, know how it feels to lose a pet. They are definitely irreplaceable. (((HUGS)))
Aww – that’s tough losing a pet. x
He was such a cutie! *hugs and happy memory sparkles*
My deepest condolences.
Thank you, Yam. It does hurt and thank you for the hug!
Thanks Merlinda. I really appreciate the kindness of my online friends!
We have dogs that left us and they are there in the Philippines and I am here in the UK. Its so painful to lose a friend. Sorry for you lost.

Oh Teresa, how I feel for you today. No loss is ever easy, but somehow the departure of a family pet so loved digs just that little deeper. Hugs from afar… YAM xx

Sorry to hear about the lost of your pet. I don’t have any pets as we do not keep pets at home.
Sorry for your loss. In the memory of Hopi-an orange tabby.
I’m sharing the memory of Megakitty – the best cat ever!
I am SO sorry for your loss, Teresa. I have been profoundly impacted by the passing of every pet I have ever loved, including Legend, Sampson, Adonis, Goliath, Nutmeg and Dutch.
So sorry for your loss. I had a kitten when I was little her name was Pus.
So sorry. Felt the same about our “Chelsey” and “Cody”. Golden labs that were part of our family for 18 years.
