Monday at NanaHood

blog 2

Happy Monday to you where ever you are!

If you are stopping by from the UPB…..Welcome!

You’ve found the land of the free (hugs and kisses for all children and grandchildren) and the home of the brave (we have seven dogs and a lamb and goat that visit on a regular basis…(so you have to be brave to walk through our yard).

I do hope you will come back and see us again.

Here’s what is going on at NanaHood this week.

First, don’t forget to visit 5 Minutes for Mom and sign up for some cool prizes.

In case you didn’t know tonight is Dancing with the Stars, night on television.  I have boycotted the show before (because they don’t wear enough clothes) but I’m back to sneaking peaks this year, I like a couple of the dancers. I don’t know why Dancing with the Stars hasn’t called yet to try and get me on the show. They must not have seen my dancing video here on NanaHood. Oh well, their loss.

It’s also the NCAA Championship Game. I’m away at a conference, so I’m wondering what my guys at home will be watching. Dancing with the Stars or the basketball game?  Can you say, “Duh!”

Last Saturday night when Kentucky played (if you don’t know Kentucky lost by 1 point) we all hung out at Justin’s house (our second son) and during half time the boys had a dunk fest in the other room. It sounded like a heard of elephants was bouncing off the walls. What follows are some pictures from that night.

And after all that exercise the boys were hungry (of course)

cake

I didn’t do any dunking but I did eat some cake! Baskin Robbins, chocolate chip ice cream and white cake…yum!

Lots of celebrating going on at NanaHood this week! Come back soon!
