Marching Like a Girl into 2017

Marching Like a Girl

I don’t usually share videos on my Wordless Wednesday posts, but I’m never wordless anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter. Part of the fun of having my own blog is that I can share whatever I want to and what I think you’ll enjoy.

And believe me, if you love kids you WILL enjoy this.

My four year old granddaughter got a karaoke microphone for Christmas. Her mother turned it on and what happened next was unbelievably cute. She ad-libbed the lyrics, the moves and even twirled the microphone (which resulted in her dropping it, but hey, she’s not a professional…yet). The song she made up is “Marching like a girl,” but if you listen to the lyrics she obviously has been influenced by other songs she’s heard.

Would love to hear your comments and hope you will link up and share with me!

Wouldn’t it be nice if adults could be so carefree and joyous?

  2. Oh my gosh, we should all do Karaoke with such abandon! I’m not great at singing in front of others, but I’ll dance in the middle of a grocery store. 😉

  3. That is so cool. Very nice. Thanks for sharing it.

I do wish we could be so joyous and careful. I try to it a lot bunch others really get on me for it. They say I am “not acting” my age or whatever. I think they are afraid to let go and enjoy.
