Easter Egg Hunt for Dog Bones

Have you ever heard of an Easter Egg Hunt for Dog Bones?

This weekend Kash (a #goldendoodle) went hunting for dog bones inside plastic Easter eggs. He didn’t go alone. His owner (my son’s girlfriend, Courtney) took him and they had a blast. The proceeds from the hunt went to BRAWA, which is a local animal shelter. There was a registration fee and the Easter Bunny was there for photo opportunities.

Kash loved being with his mom, Courtney.  My son was there too but wasn’t allowed on the field to hunt eggs. Only one person per dog could hunt. Courtney said it was quite the work out! It was exceptionally warm and by the time they were done she and Kash were both warm. Of course, she wasn’t wearing a fur coat like Kash!

Kash hung out with some of his best friends and enjoyed the sunshine. Aren’t they adorable together?

The Easter Bunny was there and they had a picture made with him/her. I can’t imagine how warm it was inside that bunny suit!

Kash even found the egg with the prize inside! So he won an Easter Basket!

Because everyone was hot they all went to Dairy Queen and Kash got to get his own ice cream cone.
