Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

Remember Gomer Pyle? Remember how he said, “Surprise, surprise, surprise,” in that goofy loud voice? Well, I love surprises too, when they are happy ones!

Now, remember my cousin Martha? She lives in Florida and I live in Kentucky, which is a “pretty fer piece,” as my grandmother would say.

I didn’t tell her I was going to drop in for a visit.  Can you tell she was surprised?

She looks like she’s in pain, but I promise you she was really happy!

And I picked a really good weekend to visit because even though it’s a little chilly here, it’s colder at home
