Fun Friday Links – the PARTY edition!
For two months, from March 1st to April 28th, it’s BIRTHDAY PARTY season around our house. We have three parties in March, and two in April. Yesterday was my husband’s turn for a birthday – and he turned 40. I’ve been working on plans for his birthday for the last few weeks, and the fact that I’m writing this post means that the party is OVER and I can relax again. And that I’m now married to a 40 year old.
But anyway!
I’m so excited about today’s post, because the parties are continuing! We are joining in the Ultimate Blog Party 2010, hosted by 5MinutesForMom.com
This Ultimate Blog Party is HUGE and you’re definitely going to want to join in too!
For starters, you can click on over HERE to the 5Minutes website, and leave a comment to win PRIZES. You can ALSO click on hundreds (over 200 so far, and counting) of links to OTHER blogs where you can enter to win even MORE prizes and giveaways.
Now, be sure to come BACK here to NanaHood, because we are having a giveaway too!
Recently we received a fabulous package of six cards from Hallmark, from their new line for kids. Here’s what the folks at Hallmark have to say about these cards:
“To help grown-ups better connect with and encourage kids, Hallmark recently introduced the all-new Kids Collection, a line of cards and gifts designed specifically to cheer kids on, cheer them up and make them smile. You can check out some of Hallmark’s Kids Collection at www.hallmark.com/kids.”
You can see more of Hallmark’s new line of cards HERE.
Now, to enter the card giveaway, please leave a comment on this post. Tell us who YOU would encourage or connect with – your child, your grandchildren, a niece or a nephew. We’ll select one random winner on the 17th.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go take a nap to recover from yesterday’s 40th birthday party festivities.
And right after my nap, I’m going to start clicking on links, while eating leftover birthday cake.
Happy (Party) Friday!
Just stopping by from the UBP at Five Minutes for Mom. I can’t believe it is the last day! You have a great site. I would love it if you visited my blog and left me a comment! I’m looking forward to reading more and getting to know you better.

Here for the party…nice to meet you!
I have two daughters…I am constantly encouraging them to try new things and to be true to who they are. I think it is so important to build self-esteem in children.
Thanks for the nice giveaway…I enjoyed visiting your blog!
coming from the UBP party; I’d connect with my grandkids more-there are 4 boys and 1 girl.

I would like for my boys to be more involved with my husband – he travels for work a ton, so they miss daddy frequently.
Hmmm, recomend NanaHood to them and maybe that will help! Thanks for stopping by!
Right now I’d love for my kids to connect more with thier paternal grandparents.
I’m visiting from the UBParty. It’s nice to meet you 🙂
Have a great week and enjoy the party hopping!
Aloha!
Thanks for coming 1stopmom! Love the blog party, don’t you? So much fun!
Thanks for stopping by! I do so love visitors!
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. Come back real soon!
Lots of birthdays around your house! How fun! Excuses for cake and ice cream. Yum!
Awww, that’s so sweet Brooke. Hat’s off to you for teaching! Tough job!
Thanks for coming to NanaHood Susan, come back soon!
Thanks for stopping by, come back again real soon!
I stopped by from the UBP! I would use these to inspire my girls who range in age from 17 to 2!

I would use the cards to connect with my son!
Stopping by from the Ultimate Blog Party. I would encourage my dd… she works hard at school (I know, I’m her teacher) and sometimes she gets frustrated.
Four out of five of our children have spring birthday’s, so I would encourage them to use the card to send to a friend on my child’s birthday. Or I would just use them on any one of my blessings.
I would connect with my 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson–the other grandson is too small to understand the concept, but later…..
Hiya Nana (my mom is a Nana as her mother was before her – I assume {I have some time} that I’ll be a Nana too!).
I would probably get some encouraging cards for my eldest boy. He had a difficult year (Kindergarten can be rough – LOL!). But I want him to know how proud Daddy and I are of him.
Popping in from the party! Have a great weekend!
Misadventures Of Mom of 3
I would probably save them to connect with my daughter and my niece (they are still little right now). Hello from UBP, btw 🙂
