Tackle it Tuesday-Mammogram
Once a year I have a mammogram and today is the day. Do I look forward to it? No.
Do I dread it? No. It’s just something I have to do.
Why? Because early detection is really important!
If you don’t do self examinations then it’s time you started. Not sure how to do it? Click here.
Back in October when I blogged about breast cancer almost every day so many of you wrote and told me about your stories. Some of you had loved ones who had just been diagnosed. Others were going through it themselves. January is a great time for beginnings. Make this the year that you really begin to take care of yourself and the women you love. Call them and ask them if they have scheduled their mammogram. If they haven’t, schedule one on the same day and go together then treat yourself to lunch. What better way to spend a girls day out!
Take care of yourself and your gal pals!
Warning signs of breast cancer
Thanks for the visit and thank goodness your mammogram was okay! Come back and visit again real soon!
I had my very first mammogram in December (bad me, I’m 54!!) and fortunately it was fine. And it wasn’t nearly as bad as I’d been told. Thanks for the encouragement for all of us to keep ahead of our health issues!
Thanks for visiting my blog. Looking forward to checking through your blog.
