Honoring Veterans

Yes, I know Veterans Day was yesterday. I am perpetually a day late and a dollar short (another Grandma Layne phrase).

Some Metcalfe County students (along with the help of their teacher)  created a web page to honor local veterans and I think it’s so awesome I want to share it with you.

If you didn’t hug a veteran yesterday, hug one today and tell them you appreciate them. I doubt they will mind that you are a day late!
