Cousins are special. I was blessed with nine cousins on my father’s side of the family and three on my mother’s side. Now that I am a nana I love watching my granddaughters interact with one another. Recently the older one had a cold and the younger one had a stomach bug. We kept them apart but they enjoyed seeing each other on Skype. If you live away from your grandchildren or children you know that Skype is the next best thing to being together. The two pictures of them on the left are them “Skyping.”
The youngest granddaughter can’t talk yet but she sure does squeal when she sees her cousin!
Do you have family members you Skype with?

Cousins are special and it’s nice seeing the bonding between these two! Have a great week and thanks for hosting.
Love it! We skype with grandparents all the time – it’s a great way for them to see the kids grow. We even have skype breakfast together.
So cute!! My daughter has a friend that moved away, she always facetime’s her. Love that technology allows them to visit face to face, even across distance!
Skype is such an amazing tool. I live 14 hours away from family and friends and use it often.
Isn’t Skype great? The godmother to my nephew was able to attend the service through Skype this year. Amazing how technology can keep us all together.
Skype is so awesome! I love that I can skype with my best friend across the country and feel that much closer to her!

Skype is great! It’s how we keep in touch with hubby’s relatives in England and Scotland
aww that’s so sweet! I don’t use it much nowadays but it was definitely very useful for me when I was apart from family!
Aww! thats so cute Skype is brilliant
Have a Skypetastic week
Skype is definitely your friend when your in-laws live on another continent.
So cool that the cousins can keep in contact via Skype. We used to use it but now have switched to using Facetime as most of them have iphones/ipads
My kids love skype-ing their cousins too. We live almost ten hours drive away from my family so Skype has been a blessing!
I have several special cousins. I have used Skype with one of them. A great way to communicate. Thanks for hosting and Happy WW!
Thanks, Judy and do come back! Wish I was in Jamica visiting you!

Skyping is adorable idea. I should definitely get on to that with Boyo and all his overseas cousins.
Technology has a way of making a big world smaller.

Amen, Joyce!
You definitely should!
I totally understand. Looking down at my cellphone and face timing someone convinced me that I should NEVER do that again!
My boys were skyping their sister who’s away at college! Need to get them skyping their cousins! Love how sweet that is!
Sooooo adorable!!

I don’t, but it sure looks like fun!
THIS is why I love the invention of Skype! My little boy talks to my best friends little boy in Belgium who he has never met before, but they play and interact just the same as if they have known each other for years and are in the same very room
Couldn’t agree more. I each of my parents had like 9 or 10 brothers and sisters, so I was blessed with TONS of cousins. I was close to several of them. My kids are equally blessed in the cousins department since I have 3 siblings and hubby has 6 =)
We love SKYPE…need to try and get my dad using it more for our kids sake..love using it when I travel for work so can say goodnight and see kids!
We Skype w/my oldest and his wife.
So cute! And what a wonderful way to let the cousins get to know each other.
I came back to answer your question (left on my blog), nope…the romance never lasted. She went off to college and he was in his last year of high school. Whew, that was a hard one, watching him mope around when she dumped him. I’d forgotten all about that. Only time I’ve ever seen that child sleep during they day (well since he’s been big anyway). Young love can be tough stuff.
That is so sweet! Skype is such a great way to keep in touch with loved ones!
My family all lives close by, so we don’t have to Skype
We love Skype! We’re in Ontario and my Mom, Stepdad, Brother & his family are all in PEI. We use Skype regularly with them. It’s such a beautiful way of being able to stay in touch.
That is so sweet that they have such a great relationship. Cute that they could stay in contact when sick. Hope they are feeling better.
Sweet! Happy WW.
Awww, so sweet!
Yes, I found my great – grandmother’s pic and added it to my maternal side of the family six generations gathering. Hope you come over to take a look-see!!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
So sorry, Skype cousins huh? Isn’t technology wonderful! If it wasn’t for skye I wouldn’t see my DAughter & her family, but once a year. I have an adorable Grandson and my youngest & great son-in-law that lives in Missouri so we use Skype to talk and see each other. Sometimes we even use it to see my other grandkids that live about 45 minutes away too. Yes, technology is wonderful.
That is so cool! What a great idea! Thanks for visiting 1camera1mom.
