Shark Attack!

Shark attack

There are bad shark attacks and good shark attacks. This post is about a good Shark attack!

I hate cleaning. There are 4 men who live in this house and 3 of them work on our farm. Muddy boots are supposed to stay outside, but they don’t. When you add 3 dogs (yes I am crazy) and 5 grandchildren to the mix. You get one very dirty house.

That’s why I was so excited when I was asked to review the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away. I couldn’t wait to get it in the mail and use it to attack the dirt and dust in my house!

The Shark Attack

This is my 9 year old granddaughter who agreed to help me try out the Shark. Notice the painting of her when she was 3 hanging on the wall. She’s growing up so fast.

Abby and Shark

Check out the cool high-powered LED headlights which makes it easier to see what you are vacuuming.

There are several attachments including one for hardwood flooring. It vacuums and has a pad that dusts at the same time.

This is a picture of it before I used it and after one trip through the kitchen and den.

One of my personal favorites was the attachment for upholstery. I love my son’s dog, Bo, but he should be bald as much hair as he sheds everyday.  The attachment below really sucked all the dog hair off the sofa! Now if I could just teach Bo to use the Shark. Unfortunately, he is terrified of it and was hiding under the bed while I was test driving the new vacuum.

You can remove the canister and vacuum underneath anything! The canister is light enough that Abby didn’t have any trouble lifting it. And because it has an extra-long 30 foot power cord Abby could vacuum several rooms without having to unplug.

Shark vaccum

One of the things I liked best is that this vacuum cleaner features an extra-large capacity dust cup and a HEPA filter. HEPA filters are a beneficial way to trap allergens, but without a complete seal, dirt and dust can return to the air, creating issues for allergy sufferers. We all have allergies and so do my grandchildren.

Shark offers a completely sealed HEPA system with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology™, an advanced system that captures and holds99.99 percent‡‡ of dust and allergens inside the vacuum, not back into the air you breathe.

It’s also great to vacuum those hard to reach places. Our twins are 6 ft. 8 inches tall and with a little ingenuity we were able to vacuum the molding above our fire place!

Cleaning with Shark If you are thinking about buying a vacuum or giving someone one for Christmas, make it a Shark. I guarantee you will love having this kind of shark in your home!

I could use one of those. Our central vacuum isn’t as powerful anymore. This looks fabulous!
