Mother’s Day Project with Kids

A Mother’s Day Project with Kids

There are two ladies at my church who are very crafty and love making things with kids. I’m not crafty but I love being their assistant and working with children. Yesterday they brought bags they purchased from a craft store and some paint. As you can see the children really enjoyed making something for mom!

One year we tried this and one little girl absolutely refused to have paint on her hand. This year there were no objections! I asked Miss K (the one with the blue hand) how the paint felt and she said, “It tickles!”

This little guy has trouble saying “r” sounds and “l’ sounds. The other day he asked me where the dog’s “Wellow Weash” was. We found it. When Ms. Cheri asked him what color he wanted to paint his hand he quickly answered “Wed!”

I snapped this at the restaurant after church. She was determined to pick up her new friend up and he was just a little too big! She didn’t think so, though!

Aren’t their little handprints sweet? Their flowers with handprints will be treasured by their moms! The bags will come in handy for diapers, treats or just miscillaneous items.

Mother's Day Project with kids

This little angel looked at me as if to say, “There she goes again! Making my picture!” It was a Mother’s Day Project with kids and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a DIY craft for children! This is a Blog Hop!
