5 Things to do in Rising Fawn, Georgia

5 Things to do in Rising Fawn, Georgia.

  1. Take a girls trip there.

I love going places with my girlfriends. Last year we went to Rising Fawn, Georgia and this year we went back. We didn’t stay at the same place as last year but we loved both places and even though we will probably go somewhere else next year because we like to change things up, I would still recommend Rising Fawn as a beautiful spot to visit.

2. Go Golfing

The actual place we stayed was Canyon Ridge Golf Club. Because I don’t golf I can’t tell you if it’s a tough course, but I can tell you it’s a gorgeous course.

3. Take long walks or rent a golf cart so you can enjoy the scenery.

We had a great time touring the course with golf carts from the pro shop. Lots of photo ops and giggling ops too!

4. Make lots of photographs. I forgot and left my good camera at home so these were all made with my i-phone.

The most fun of course was just being together. The six of us rarely get to see each other. Three of us live in Kentucky and three in Atlanta.Three of us celebrated turning 60 this year. Can you pic out which three? Probably not because of the other three two are one year older and one is one year younger….the baby we call her!

5. Find a great place to stay on VRBO!

This is the condo where we stayed. I found it on VRBO and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in that area. There was a pool and tennis courts nearby. The condo was decorated beautifully and had more than enough room for the six of us. They have condos there for sale too at a very reasonable price so if you are looking to buy, I can connect you with a Realtor I met while there.

We loved sitting outside at night on the back deck beneath these lights. There was a grill and we all brought food so we never left the condo for meals. Some of us are better cooks than others (I enjoyed the fruits of their labor) and the food was fantastic.
