Making Memories Monday at NanaHood
Making Memories
Around here we work hard at keeping children safe and happy. We do our best at making memories at Nana’s and Poppa’s house.
These three had been playing in the pool, notice the floatation device on curly locks. They all decided to ride the same little car but as you can tell they really didn’t fit on it. They still looked adorable on it and so I told them to say “Cheese.” They complied with my wish but the sun was in there eyes, which made them squint. They were still adorable.
The reasons for the pool was it’s been unseasonably hot in southern Kentucky. As you can tell this “hot dog” took a dip in the doggy pool. We keep one just for them so they can chill too.
This is Bailey who isn’t big enough for the doggy pool, but she is big enough to chew! Puppy teeth are sharp so we keep chew toys around and steer her away from things like shoes! I snapped this pic when she looked at me and it seemed like she was doing an Elvis snarl imitation. What do you think?
These two are engaged and getting married next summer. The sun was setting and she was working on her computer while her dog watched and my son kept her company. Kentucky is so green and lush. We love making memories here!
This is a blog hop. How was your week and what kind of memories did you make?
OMG what adorable pooches! The little rat boys I take care of have their own pool and are very confused if I ever dip a toe in there. Our weather is mostly rainy but today it was very humid. I bet it’s nothing compared to what you’ve experienced. It actually feels like tornado weather but a little more than a week ago I wanted to turn the fireplace on ( I actually haven’t turned it off for the season, something I usually do in the early spring).
Hi Teresa!
The two links between mine look like spam – about car insurance for South Africans. I wanted to give you a heads up as those aren’t mine, even though I do live in South Africa. 😉
I love the photos of the cute puppy and adorable grandkids! Thanks for hosting!
Tina
Love your intentionality about making memories. This past month we have made memories with a “Family Weekend” at our oldest grandson’s college and then two weeks later returned there for his graduation. Two weeks after that we traveled to see his sister graduate from high school. Grandchildren seem to grow up even faster than our children did.
Your 3 little grands are adorable! Here it is June 4th and my heat came on today! We are still getting cool and wet weather! It was my husband’s milestone birthday so I amde him a favorite meal and we had a family celebration–the best of times!
Awww…everyone was having fun in the pool! What wonderful memories you are making!
Family memories are the best!
