What Is A Droid RAZR MAXX HD?
“Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Boomer Voices program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.”
I told you I was going to Chicago to become a Verizon Voices Ambassador. Now that I have received my training on my new Droid RAZR MAXX HD I have a very strong urge to go around saying, “Can you hear me now?”
I’ll try my best to resist.
This is my new really cool phone that I was given to review. My plan was to keep both my old phone and the new one. I was going to use the older one the most until I had time to become familiar with Mr. Droid, as I like to call him. Alas, the day after I got home from Chicago my old phone decided to go for a swim in the toilet and drowned. I tried to revive him by sealing him in a bag of rice, but it didn’t work.
So now I have no choice but to spend more time with my new phone and that is a good thing. I’m learning quickly, or as quickly as an old dog can learn new tricks.
I’ve had the phone for one week and so far here is what I like best about it…
The screen is bigger than my old phone, not huge but bigger and easier to see.
The phone has a “Mobile Hotspot” feature that I can turn on if I am in a place that doesn’t have good coverage.
Yesterday I went to my son’s house and he has no internet service. I turned on my “Mobile Hotspot” and connected to the Internet through my phone. Now that’s what I call SUPER COOl! This phone is beyond a smart phone, it should be called A Brilliant Phone. When I learn some more new tricks I’ll do another post about the phone.
Chicago was fun and besides getting an amazing phone I met some awesome new blogger friends.
My official hashtags for this program are: #VZWVoices and #Boomer. By the way, I just love being a boomer….Baby Boomers rock!
Tomorrow I plan to share some of my Chicago pictures. Do come back and share your photos with me tomorrow!
I loved meeting everyone in Chicago! Unlike you I am still using 2 phones. I am going to be reviewing the Droid vs iPhone 5 on different aspects over the next 6 months. We will see who the winner is then. I will say that I really like the Droid so far. It’s like my old Droid on steroids… LOL
