The Exuberance of Youth

I am participating in a Vibrant Influencer Network campaign for L’Oreal Age Perfect. I am receiving a fee for posting; however, the opinions expressed in this post are my own. I am in no way affiliated with L’Oreal Age Perfect and do not earn a commission or percent of sales.

When my son was about 4 years old he loved Ninja Turtles. For some reason he and his cousin would put underwear on their heads and run through the house shouting, “Hiiii-Yah!” while doing Karate kicks.  They were so stinking cute!

A few days ago my cousin sent me a picture of her 3 grands that brought back so many memories.

The two oldest children are boys and the one in diapers is their baby sister. These three are a constant source of entertainment and are the perfect example of the exuberance of youth. They feel good. They love fun and the only boundaries life holds are the ones their parents set for them.

Where Does It Go?

When was the last time you felt the exuberance of youth? I am not suggesting we put underwear on our heads and do Karate chops, but I do think adults tend to get weighed down with the responsibilities of life and we forget to have fun.

No matter how old we are somewhere inside us is that giggly, fun girl who loved to share secrets and jokes with her best friend. Just because we grow up doesn’t mean we still can’t have fun, or that we have to look and dress like our Great-Aunt Ethel did.

Have Fun and Look Good

One way we can look younger longer is by taking care of our skin. We can’t have skin as young looking as the three pictured above, but with L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal we can keep our skin from sagging, get rid of those ugly age spots and replenish the moisture that we lose as we age.

I started using L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal last fall and can honestly say that I love the products! I love the simplicity of the beauty regime. One cream for night and one for day, plus the Golden Serum for a smooth, soft finish day and night. The longer I continue using it the more benefits I see. While I may not be getting any younger I want to keep my skin looking as good as I can for as long as I can.

There are other things you can do for your skin, too. My doctor would tell you to drink lots of water and stay out of the sun. My friends at L’Oreal and I agree and recommend using their skin care regime on a regular basis. The L’Oreal Day Cream has 15SPF to help protect from harmful rays. And finally, the three kids above recommend putting underwear on your head and acting silly.

Personally, I think doing all three of these will not only make you look younger but will also keep you young at heart!
