The Kentucky Twosome in the Final Four

If you are a basketball fan or listen to ESPN at all, you know that it’s down to the Final Four. If you are from Kentucky you know that we have two teams in the Final Four and as luck would have it, they are playing each other this Saturday.

Facebook has been filled with fans claiming THEIR team is going to win. Most of it has been harmless and funny, but of course there are those that carry rivalry too far.

This week two fans got into a heated discussion and ended up throwing punches. What made the story even worse was it was at a dialysis center where they were getting treatment. And both of the gentlemen were old enough to know better; one was 69 and the other 71. Which goes to show you just how seriously Kentucky people take basketball. You can read more of the story here.

Now if we could only get Kentuckians to care as much about world peace, finding a cure for cancer, etc. as they do basketball….just imagine what we could do!

By the way, GO BIG BLUE! Sorry U of L fans, but I grew up watching UK ball and I bleed blue!

Go Big Blue and Grow Big Blueberries!

Weird title? Not really. I have been watching University of Kentucky basketball since I was a toddler. For the first time in 13 years the Cats are back  in the Final Four! Houston, you have a problem….thousands of Cat fans are about to take over your city! So (cover your ears) GO CATS!!!! This house bleeds blue!

I wish my dad were still alive to see Bill driving this tractor on the farm. The tractor has been around awhile, come to think of it, so has Bill...his birthday is April 5th! Happy Birthday honey!
