Sam the Dog
I went for a walk on our farm Sunday and Sam followed along. He is usually camera shy (seriously, he runs from a camera). So I was surprised when he let me make his picture. Sam is 9 years old and has a wonderful disposition. He was rescued by my son from a local shelter. Shelter pets make great family members! If you are thinking of getting a pet I highly recommend you visit your local animal shelter.

So cute! We love the local animal shelters as well. Won’t be getting another dog anytime soon, but when we are ready for another we will certainly go to a shelter. 🙂
