Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass -

Disclaimer: I was invited to Disney Social Media Moms Conference #DisneySMMC and we were shown the movie at no cost to us. The opinions here are strictly my own.

I confess I did not see the first Alice movie and was not sure what to expect when we were told we would be viewing Alice Through the Looking Glass. We were given 3D glasses and went into the theater and it didn’t take but a few minutes before I was enthralled.

Here’s a quick glimpse to show you what I mean when I say the costumes, colors and characters were unforgettable!

Some of the costumes were on display in the lobby for us to view and I loved seeing the fabrics and designs.

The special effects were more amazing than any I have ever seen. I actually felt like I was flying around through the air with Alice!

I don’t want to say to much about the plot because I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I will say that my 4 year old granddaughter and my soon to be 11 year old granddaughter both loved it. Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Mia Wasikowska were my favorite cast members, but all the actors and actresses were great!

After the movie we were served the most delicious little tiny cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. My younger granddaughter had been to see Doc McStuffins and was still wearing her lab coat. Here’s a photo of her enjoying her cupcake. By the way, if you don’t know who Doc McStuffins is…shame on you!
