Making Memories Monday-A Weekend With the GRANDdaughter

Two days of sunshine and a weekend with Abby and I feel almost human again! For those of you who don’t know much about Kentucky in the winter time I can describe it to you in one word, “GRAY.”  After awhile you start feeling like the sun has forgotten where you live, but of course that’s not true.

Saturday was gorgeous and my son and I took Abby to one of our favorite restaurants.

Famous for their fried catfish and country ham!

Guess what Abby ordered?

Would you believe pizza with ranch dressing and corn?

We also went to the park to feed the ducks.

Sunday was just as beautiful as Saturday. After church Abby’s friend, Maggie came over and we played outside.

Mondays mean back to work, but we carry with us the memories of a beautiful weekend!

  1. Glad Abby loves the corn, Pizza and ranch……Believe it or not, we see that combination quite often! 🙂

  2. Oh, like you we enjoyed are weekend here in Montgomery County, TN.. Your description is so right on “Gray”. It was so nice to clean the van inside and out and enjoy the sunshine while walking the dog. The boys were sick with fevers of all times but Mike and I took turns going outside to enjoy and get a break. Loved your pictures. Oh, by the way, it rained on my clean van today, but the inside is till clean. lol 🙂
