Get Carded Challenge
I love to get a card from a friend in the mail, don’t you? It’s like getting a little gift that says “Today I am thinking of you.” In this day and age of email and instant messaging sometimes we forget just how wonderful cards can be.
The Challenge from Hallmark….
Hallmark agrees with me about cards being like gifts and they issued a challenge to bloggers to send 7 cards in 7 days to 7 special people in your life. I am so blessed and have so many special people in my life that it wasn’t a challenge at all…it was just plain fun!
Because this is October and because I have blogged PINK all month the very first person I thought of was of course my cousin Martha who is the toughest breast cancer fighter I know!

Another card went to a friend having surgery. One went to a friend who has been sick. Another to a friend who always sends me sweet cards…now it was my turn to send one to her! The seven days flew by but the good feeling of sending friends a little gift in the mail lasted much, much longer.
