Five Birthdays

August is a month of Birthdays at NanaHood. NanaHood.com, turned 7 years old. My son-in-law and I share a birthday on the 13th and my oldest granddaughter’s is just a few days before ours. A dear friend of mine also shares the same day as my son-in-law and me and I’ll tell you about him in a moment.

This weekend we celebrated all 5 birthdays and today I’m sharing pictures with you! Hope you had a good weekend too!

Cousins and birthdayThese are my grands, all but the littlest one. She’s only 3 months old and didn’t feel like joining in the celebration.

Shared Birthday

This guy and I were born on the same day, in the same hospital and we were in the same nursery together. We went through school together and graduated in 1974 (you can do the math). We have been friends a very, very long time. He and his friends and family were going out to dinner and we decided at the last minute to tag along. I’m so glad we did. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone!

  12. Happy Birthday to every last one of you. Same thing happens with me. My birthday is on the 15th, with an Aunt’s birthday (you probably knew her from Metcalfe Co) on the 17th and her daughter, my cousin on the 19th. Then along came a grand daughter on the 2nd and a grandson on the 25th. I also have a friend born on the same day, same hospital and we went 1st-12th grade together. We still wish each other happy birthday like a twin.
