Dear Mr. Droid

Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Boomer Voices program
and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service
in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

Dear Mr. Droid,

I have to have a full eight hours sleep every night or I’m grouchy (just ask my husband if you don’t believe me). While you, Mr. Droid Razr Maxx HD, don’t seem to need much rest at all. Your battery lasts longer than mine does! It is utterly amazing. Last night I was too tired (and too lazy) to go get my phone charger so I didn’t plug you in to charge. This morning I picked you up, held my breath, grabbed a tissue and then looked at you. Truthfully, I expected you to be dead, but you weren’t….not even close!

Don’t be jealous, but before you I had an I-phone. He got flushed down the toilet and at first I was upset, but now I’m not because I love you more! You are Super Phone!

I love you because

Another reason I love you is because you have my Kindle on you. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been stuck somewhere, bored out of my mind and then remembered, I can read a book on my phone! Mr. Droid your screen is so much larger than my old I-phone that you are more like a tablet than a phone.

The Kindle App is extremely easy to use. In a matter of seconds I can pick out a book, read a few pages, order it and then, woo hoo, I have a book!  I can transport myself out of whatever boring situation I find myself in (most recent one was waiting for an oil change that was only supposed to take 15 minutes and ended up taking 45).

There is always something to do when Mr. Droid is around.

I can make pictures of my adorable grandchildren.

Or I can make videos of my adorable grandchildren.

And I can Skype with them too!

Mr. Droid, you are so cool! I am definitely in phone-love with you!

Hi Susan, So good to hear from you! I wouldn’t say I’m adept, but I am willing to learn and I am not afraid to mess up! IPhones are cool too! Hugs to you Susan!

Congratulations on being so adept with technology. I love my iPhone but it gets glitchy and cranky like me. Maybe I need to switch!

I hear you. I am having similar feelings with my Droid & iPhone. It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of this testing period. How many will stick with Droid and how many will stay with iPhone?
