The Things We Nanas Do

A few weeks ago I visited cousin Martha in Florida. While I was there I got to spend quality time with her granddaughter Madi. If you remember Madi was featured last week holding her doll “Lula Bob.” Madi is a precocious little girl who is unbelievably adorable. She has a dusting of freckles over her nose and giggles that make you want to giggle right along with her.

She has Nana Martha wrapped around her little finger. So I shouldn’t have been surprised when we got in the car and Madi said, “Nana, I want to drive,” and Martha let her. We only went a couple of blocks and we didn’t meet any cars on the road, but it was an interesting ride!

And yes we all wore seatbelts!

Link up you guys! Happy Word Filled Wednesday!

The BIG Cheese

My six year old granddaughter has always loved having her picture taken. Even when she was just a toddler she would step in front of the camera and ask, ” Do you want me to make a cheese?”

A few nights ago her Aunt Rachel and Uncle Gabe told her they would take her to get some ice cream but she had to put her shoes on first. She couldn’t find her shoes so she put her little feet in my very big shoes. I got the camera and her Uncle Gabe instructed her to “Make a BIG cheese.”

As you can see she did as she was asked. What a little mess she is and oh, how we love her!

Wordless Wednesday – the puppy love edition

We have just a FEW puppies hanging out around our house right now.  Talk about puppy love – we have plenty!

Would You Drive This To Work?

It’s Wordless Wednesday and time for a photo that somehow speaks to the audience without words. Once again I just can’t show you pictures without explaining where they come from.

I have spent a lot of time at the vet’s office lately. The other day while I was there a lady pulled up in a rather unusual van. I couldn’t resist making pictures with my phone.

The windows on the van were down and it was blasting patriotic music.

This bird was on a cart that she pulled behind the van.

What’s up  with strange vehicles lately? Last week it was the Toilet Truck, now this. Can’t wait to see what turns up next week!

You Won’t Believe This Photo!

I love participating in Wordless Wednesday but more often than not I can’t make myself NOT say something. Today is no exception. My daughter and her husband were driving through town when they saw this truck.

She snapped the picture and sent it to me. I couldn’t stop laughing but I also couldn’t stop wondering what the words on the side of the truck said. So I did a little research (Google of course) and this is what I found.

If this doesn’t make you Wordless/Speechless, nothing will! Wait! Before you go (forgive me for shameless begging but I can’t afford advertising) please follow me or “like” me on Facebook! Pretty please with sugar on top!
