1.       What do your grandchildren call you and did you choose your title or did they?

NANA, I CHOSE NANA BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS MEME AND SHE DUBBED THAT, BUT I LOVE NANA

2.       How many grandchildren do you have and how old are they?

I JUST HAVE ONE GRANDDAUGHTER AND SHE IS 3

3.       What is your favorite thing to do with your grandchildren?

WE HAVE KEPT HER EVERY WEEKEND SINCE SHE WAS BORN AND LOVE IT. SATURDAY IS “WALMART DAY” AND THE PARK AND SUNDAY IS CHURCH DAY. SHE LOVES SUNDAY SCHOOL!

4.       How do you communicate with your grandchildren? Phone, Facebook, twitter, text?

WE TALK TO HER ON THE PHONE DURING THE WEEK

5.       What do you wish you could do with them but haven’t gotten to do yet?

TAKE HER TO THE BEACH

6.       If you could change one thing about the world your grandchildren live in, what would it be and why?

HONESTLY I BELIEVE THAT THE WORST THING ABOUT TODAY IS THAT GOD HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF EVERYTHING AND EVERYWHERE. HE NEEDS TO BE PUT BACK.

7.       What traits or characteristics do your grandchildren have that you recognize from their parents?

SHE LOOKS LIKE MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW BUT ACTS JUST LIKE MY SON RIGHT DOWN TO HER TEMPER. BUT, LIKE HER MOMMY,  SHE IS SUCH A GIRLY GIRL, LOVES DRESSES, BOWS, AND MAKE-UP AT 3 YEARS OLD

8.       What do you like best about being a grandparent?

EVERYTHING, BEING WITH HER, LOVING HER AND TEACHING HER, DRESSING HER UP.

9.       Where do you live and what do you like best about living there?

WE LIVE AT LAKE FORK, TEXAS IN THE COUNTRY AND WE LIKE  THE PEACE AND QUIET THAT COMES WITH LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN

10.   What’s your grandchildren’s favorite foods (please include a recipe!)

GRAVY USING BACON GREASE, MILK, FLOUR AND SALT AND PEPPER

ANYWAY… here is some Friday Random Goodness for you:

  • Speaking of giveaways, we’re going to try another one! This time, Teresa is giving away a copy of Mozart for a Mother’s Soul (which is gift book with a Mozart CD).  You can read more about the book HERE.  To enter to WIN this, please just leave a comment on this post!
  • I was reading through blog posts at BlogHer this week, and I found this GREAT post about making a simple cardboard box dollhouse. My three year old and I will be making one of these this coming week.  I’m all about simple and fun, and this fits the bill.  Thought you might enjoy checking it out too!
