Basketball rules at our house and we are big, big University of Kentucky fans. If you live in a cave or don’t like basketball you might not know that our Wildcats just lost to University of Connecticut for the Championship.
We don’t like second place, but hey, that’s still pretty good and UK Wildcats still rock! My husband’s birthday happened to coincide with the ballgame so we celebrated with a UK cake. One of my granddaughters came over to watch the game wearing her cheerleader uniform and her Aunt Jessi was all too happy to hold her up and show her off.

University of Kentucky??? –> My dear colleague Daniel will travel from Germany to Louisville soon to start an extra occupational study at the ‘U of L’ – the University of Louisville. So that’s definitely not too far away from Lexington, am I right?
With a little luck he might find some beautiful girls at Louisville as well. But I’m afraid he’s rather busy with learning all the new stuff in a tongue he speaks as a foreign language.
